In-Home Consultations: Lynn Hoover will ask you to complete a behavior questionnaire and return it to her for review. If its likely she can help, she will work with you to schedule the in-home consult.
There is a distinct advantage to being able to see your pet in the home environment. Lynn can see what is happening in real-time and what she has to work with.
Puppy Primers: Lynn Hoover will help you set up for maximum success with your new puppy. Call Lynn at 412 384-2677 to schedule. The program is individualized and organized around your schedule.
Behavior Modification & Management Plan: Lynn may provide a written behavior management and modification plan upon request. An additional fee may be assessed for this service. A formal plan may be necessary to support change.

Short on Time to Carry Through on Behavior Modification Interventions? Lynn will come to your home and carry out training and behavior modification plans for you. Plans are individualized according to your and your dog's unique needs. Fees assessed at a $90. hourly rate.
Length of Appointments: Most in-home consultations require one and a half to two hours. Follow-up visits are scheduled as needed to develop plan, teach technique, and support change. A follow-up session will usually provide essential support that helps families understand and carry out plans to manage and modify problem behaviors.
You will be askeed to e-mail on a regular basis to give progress reports on how you and your dog are doing. Lynn will want to know what you have worked on, how your dog has reacted to the behavior plan, and will answer questions that have likely arisen. Some plans have to be modified often to shape valued behaviors.

Fees for behavioral consultation appointments:
$90. hourly rate.
No charge for pre-interview review of behavior questionnaire, written summary to veterinarians, or e-mail follow-ups.
An additional charge may be assessed for extensive travel. Lynn will give you a travel cost, if applicable, in advance of the consult. If in doubt, send Lynn your zip code and she'll track a distance/time ratio and send you an estimate of cost.
Payment:
Payment is requested at the time of your appointment and can be made by cash, check. Credit card payment is also an option.
Cancellation Policy:
If you miss your appointment without 24 hours prior notification of cancellation, a bill will be sent for 1 hour of consultation time ($90.).
